When an additional academic skill is needed, faculty from other areas and/or business professionals can be invited to lend their expertise to the class. While the core responsibility of the class is to manage the investments in a given portfolio, presentations before official groups associated with the university (e.g., College of Business Advisory Board, Finance Advisory Council) have been made upon request. In addition, interpersonal skills, especially in working with small groups, will be developed during the semester.
